The Residence Programme
The Residence Programme (TRP) is a specific tax residence programme for EU, EEA and Swiss nationals. Subject to the satisfaction of certain conditions, including the acquisition or rental of immovable property in Malta, an individual and his/ her family could obtain tax residence in Malta and also benefit from a 15% tax rate on foreign income which is received in Malta, subject to a minimum annual tax of €15,000.
